Tottenham, over the past few matchdays, have slipped up quite a bit. Their form at the moment is abysmal, and following their 0-0 draw with Watford over the weekend serious doubts arose over Tottenham’s ability to potentially make it into the top four come the end of the season as it marked their 4th game without a win.
Despite the poor performances, though, Tottenham still have a decent chance of clinching a place in next season’s Champions League. Here are 3 reasons why;
Chelsea, who currently reside in 4th-place, aren’t doing a very good job of maintaining their place in the top four. They’re so inconsistent to the point where it’s almost like they’re asking teams to overtake them on the table.
Lampard, so far, has done a great job of getting Chelsea to a level where they’re able to sit 4th on the table despite their lack of ‘experienced’ personnel in multiple areas across the pitch, however, Lampard has struggled to lead his side to maintain their position.
Chelsea are currently sit 8 points above Tottenham on the league table – one inconsistent month for Chelsea could be enough to give Spurs a chance to secure a top four finish.
