Arsenal would be vying to extend their pre-season winning streak when they lock horns with West Ham United at Emirates Saturday to open their new Premier League campaign.

The Gunners crushed every opposition in all five of their pre-season games, including a comprehensive 1-0 victory over reigning champions Chelsea in the Community Shield last weekend – Arsene Wenger’s first ever victory against Jose Mourinho.

North London outfit will be looking to start their season in grand style by crushing the hammers ad to make their title intentions known to everyone. Arsenal finished third last season when they ended the campaign 12 points behind Chelsea.

Quite contrastingly, West Ham had a disappointing start under new manager Slaven Bilic. The Hammers were knocked out of the Europa League in the third qualifying round following a 2-1 defeat at Romanian side Astra Giurgiu in midweek to lose 4-3 on aggregate.
