Harry Kane has admitted that he is flattered by interest from Manchester United but asserted he will not leave Tottenham Hotspur.

With Robin van Persie’s future at Old Trafford uncertain and Radamel Falcao returning to Monaco after a disappointing loan season, Louis van Gaal is in the market for a goal-scorer this summer and placed the 21-year-old England international on top of his wish-list.

Kane enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign at White Hart Lane last season, having scored 31 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.

He won Premier League Player of the Month award twice during the season and was named PFA Young Player of the Year.

“I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs,” Kane told Sky Sports.

“I have seen there is interest, but that’s all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.”

Kane made his senior debut for Spurs in 2011 and spent two seasons on loan at four club – Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City.

In February this year, he signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with Spurs.

“Tottenham are a big club and that’s how people have got to see it. I’m at a big club now and enjoying my football looking forward to next season at White Hart Lane,” he said.

Kane is currently with England U-21 at European Championships, underway in the Czech Republic.
