Having moved to Manchester United in 2014, there was a lot of promise for the young left back who had two successful seasons with the Southampton first team warranting the £30 million move to Old Trafford. However, after a series of injuries and public criticism from several managers, Manchester does not look like his home anymore. But where will the 22-year-old go now as United have reportedly slapped a £20 million price tag on his head?

With the side struggling for the form they will be looking to the January transfer window to improve their squad. Having spent a lot of money in the summer, Ronald Koeman did not replace his ageing back line of Phil Jagielka, Ashley Williams and Leighton Baines. Baines, in particular, is not the player he once was and if Everton are going to contend with the top four, then they need to bolster their side.
