This Sunday Ronald Koeman’s Everton team will travel to the Theatre of Dreams in the hope they can upset the formidable hosts. Manchester United alongside their City rivals are the only two teams still unbeaten in the league today.

The Red Devils have only conceded two goals in four games, whilst scoring 12 in the process. Everton, on the other hand, have had a rocky start. Despite spending close to £143million in the summer, the Toffees have only accumulated 4 points from 4 games, experiencing 2 defeats. To stop that trend, Everton must shake-up their starting XI on Sunday.

Formation: 4-3-3

9. CB: Michael Keane

Life post-Burnley hasn’t been so sweet for Michael Keane as many expected him to settle all of Everton’s defensive worries. However, it’s been the opposite. The constant switch from a 3-5-2 to 4-2-3-1 hasn’t helped his transition either, but against Manchester United, Everton will need Keane’s excellent 1v1 defending & organisation to shine through.
