This Sunday Ronald Koeman’s Everton team will travel to the Theatre of Dreams in the hope they can upset the formidable hosts. Manchester United alongside their City rivals are the only two teams still unbeaten in the league today.

The Red Devils have only conceded two goals in four games, whilst scoring 12 in the process. Everton, on the other hand, have had a rocky start. Despite spending close to £143million in the summer, the Toffees have only accumulated 4 points from 4 games, experiencing 2 defeats. To stop that trend, Everton must shake-up their starting XI on Sunday.

Formation: 4-3-3

7. LB: Leighton Baines

The industrious full-back is an ever-present figure down the left flank for Everton. His willingness to get forward to provide width & crosses is a key component of Everton’s attack, and without it, they are too one dimensional.
