Watch Video Highlights: Southampton 2-3 Manchester United

Anthony Martial scored a brace as Manchester United came from behind to beat Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

Graziano Pelle put the hosts in front in early first, but the game was leveled for the visitors when Anthony Martial scored his second Premier League goal after four minutes of the half hour mark.

The youngster found the net again just after the restart, taking the full advantage of Maya Yoshida’s error and slotting the ball past Stekelenburg.

Juan Mata added a third for the Red Devils in the 68th minute. Pelle’s late goal for the Saints was an alarm of danger for Louis Van Gaal’s boys, but they held on a victory.

After Sunday’s win, Manchester United move up to 2nd in the Premier League standings table, just two adrift of rivals Manchester City.

Now United will return to home, where they welcome Ipswich Town to Old Trafford in a Capital One Cup clash.
