What Has Made Jadon Sancho a Top Transfer Target For Man United

Manchester United has turned the season around and is going to play in Europe’s most elite league next season; The Champions League. That means better teams, better opponents and thus, tougher games. United has a solid 10-12 players, but that won’t suffice a season with 50-60 games. They need players and the #1 on that list is Jadon Sancho.

Here are the 3 reasons why Manchester United need Jadon Sancho:

The Right-Wing Spot

It has been some time since a solid right-winger. Different managers at Old Trafford had tried Juan Mata, Lingard, Martial, Rashford, Valencia but somehow they all have failed to thrive at that particular position. Daniel James was signed last summer to cover this shortcoming but he is yet to prove that he is a long-term solution.

All are better suited to play and contribute from other positions. Sancho can play in all the four positions of attack but his best game comes as a right-winger. In 14 appearances as a right midfielder/winger, Sancho has scored 5 goals and assisted 7 times. It’s time for United to cash in and get one of the best right-wingers available in the market.

Versatility in Front Four

Yes, right flank is his best spot. But, that doesn’t mean that he can’t feature in other spots. All in all, in 46 games, he has scored 20 goals and assisted 18 times. Just like Martial and Rashford, he can switch in the front three and add more problems for the defenders. The confusion on which position a specific player is operating can break the opposition’s tactics. If Dan James is given a chance in right-wing, Sancho can operate in the left and as a number 10 as well. Bruno Fernandes can’t play every game. He needs to rest and that time, the young Englishmen can start at the number 10 spot.

Young and Lethal

Sancho is just a 20-year old kid. Yet, he has the capability to destroy any defence. His strength is dribbling and has a great vision for making a creative pass. His best of the years are yet to come. Imagine a team with young talents like United have already. Sancho will thrive with fellow Englishmen like Rashford and Maguire. Mason Greenwood has performed exceptionally well in the right-wing since the lockdown has been lifted. But, adding Sancho will give a completely different dimension to this United side. With the young Englishmen starting and Greenwood on the bench, there will be no relaxation time for the opponents.
