From Premier League Champions to 5th place is the story of Chelsea’s past two seasons. The same set of players have experienced a glorious high and a rock-bottom moment. But for some of those players, they should leave Chelsea on this all-time low. For the sake of their careers and reputation, these Chelsea players must make a shock exit in the summer.

Here are five players who must leave Chelsea.

5Álvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata

It’s not been a great first season in England for the Spaniard. Morata only managed to score 15 goals in 47 appearances, equating to less than one in three. That’s not been good enough for Antonio Conte as the Italian firmly placed all his hopes in Morata as his no.1 striker, shipping off Michy Batshuayi to Germany.

However, once it was clear that Morata wouldn’t be able to produce the required returns, Oliver Giroud was brought in in January. Now, Morata faces an unclear future at the Bridge with rumours circulating that he might be in for a return to Juventus.
